Heritage sites and buildings will be maintained and enhanced to create and improve the amenities available to visitors to the Reserve. The Reserve is used to conseerve and grow communities of threatened Species of plants, animals, reptiles and birds.




Some wetlands are managed using cattle grazing to retain open water and short grass areas so encouraging suitable habitats for migratory and indigenous shorebirds and wading birds. Other wetlands are managed to exclude cattle, in order to protect and enhance indigenous water plants.
